one of my best friends is expecting her first little baby in a matter of weeks, so for fun, i made a little something they could hang in the baby’s room.
this baby has been long anticipated and hoped for, so for this print, in addition to using my friend’s favorite colors and aesthetics, i wanted to communicate how loved this little kid will be, and how happily they’ll be welcoming him or her.
my friend Stacey contacted me to see if i could make her a personalized copy of my “365 book.” i gave the original book to David for our first anniversary – in it, i had written down 365 things i love about him.

i got an email shortly after my lovely & talented photographer friend Carissa (of For You, Love Me) featured One Word Prints on her blog. that email was from Chelsea, who asked me to come up with a frameable print for her, featuring a few of her favorite things.
here’s how it turned out… i’m glad to say that Chelsea was very pleased with it, and said, “…the print got here. it’s lovely lovely lovely! thank you so much. it’s whimsical and inspiring and real.”

my little sister Laura celebrated her birthday a few weeks ago. she’d mentioned that she’d like a notebook that was all her own, so this is what i came up with. she told me to go for bright colors, so this was a fun one!
a client contacted me to make a custom 25th anniversary card for his wife. he wanted it to represent a love that was rooted and established… here’s what i came up with.

in people years, he’s 2.5. i’m not sure why he’s lived as long as he has, but he does sit next to our Mac, so maybe it’s all the bluelight.
